This hotel is a blend of nice amenities and a welcoming atmosphere, but it has some drawbacks worth noting. While the amenities are good and the staff is accommodating, the area's condition leaves something to be desired, and extra fees can feel misleading. Still, the comfortable rooms and pleasant staff make for a decent overall experience.

Rooms
9.0
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered a great view. The beds were surprisingly plush with an abundance of pillows.
Service
10.0
I found the staff to be incredibly friendly and accommodating, even running small errands like delivering toothpaste to my room.
Location
5.0
The hotel is situated just a block from Pioneer Square, but the surrounding area feels rundown and dirty, which can be off-putting.
Dining
6.0
While the dining options were limited and could improve, I did enjoy a decent meal at the on-site restaurant, but it wasn't particularly memorable.
Facilities
7.0
There are useful amenities like electric vehicle charging and bikes for guests, but I didn't feel the resort fee was justified since some services weren't utilized.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The cleanliness and comfort were top-notch, and I truly appreciated the modern feel and cozy amenities. Although the dining experience had a minor hiccup with limited options, the overall value for money was impressive. Valet service could be better organized, but it's a small trade-off for such a lovely place to stay.

Rooms
10.0
The room was spotless and incredibly comfortable, with a fantastic view of the city. I loved having so many pillows and the added convenience of a refrigerator.
Service
8.0
The service was welcoming from the moment I walked in. However, the valet took longer than expected, which was the only downside.
Location

Centrally located and easy to get to several attractions in Portland, which made exploring the city a breeze.
Dining
7.0
The restaurant had some definite highlights, especially the burger, but there could be more variety on the menu.
Facilities

The hotel provided great amenities, including bikes for rent and a small but effective gym. I appreciated the extra touch of free beverages during the social hour.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in downtown Portland! The location is superb, with easy access to shops and food trucks, making it very convenient. The room was clean and comfy, and I truly appreciated the extra amenities like the refrigerator and available bikes. However, my experience was marred by a slow check-in process, and the staff seemed a bit casual about the delays, which was frustrating after a long day of travel.

Rooms
10.0
The room was on the 17th floor, offering a great view of the city, and everything was spotless. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with four pillows for each double bed, which was a nice touch.
Service
5.0
While the staff did show friendliness, the check-in process was disorganized, causing delays and lack of communication regarding room availability.
Location
10.0
The location is central, close to shops, food trucks, and the river waterfront, making it easy to explore the area on foot.
Dining
7.0
I had an average meal at the restaurant where my son enjoyed an excellent burger. My steak frites didn't quite meet my expectations, though.
Facilities

The hotel offers bike rentals, which I found to be a wonderful amenity for exploring the area, despite the hilly terrain.

This boutique hotel has a lot of potential with its friendly staff and comfortable rooms, but the surrounding area leaves much to be desired. The hidden fees, including a hefty resort fee, really dampened the overall experience. Although the dining options were limited and not very impressive, the accommodations themselves were quite nice.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were well-maintained and comfortable, featuring good decor and a peaceful atmosphere without noise from neighboring rooms.
Service
7.0
The staff was very accommodating, addressing all our requests effectively. However, the additional resort fee felt unjustified, especially since our room was not serviced during our stay.
Location
5.0
Although just one block from Pioneer Square, the area around the hotel has become run-down, which was quite disappointing.
Dining
5.0
The bistro restaurant had limited choices and the food quality was underwhelming, making dining less enjoyable than expected.
Facilities
6.0
While the hotel offers amenities like gym access and electric vehicle charging, the value for money with the resort fee is questionable.

I had a wonderful stay at the Dossier Hotel in downtown Portland. The location was perfect, with plenty of shops and food trucks nearby. My room was spacious and clean, which I really appreciated, and the staff was extremely polite and accommodating. However, I did encounter some issues with the check-in process, as my room was not ready on time and the air conditioning wasn't functioning well during a heat wave.

Rooms
9.0
The room I stayed in was spacious and very clean with two comfortable double beds. The bathroom was large and had a separate bathtub and shower, which added to the luxury.
Service
6.0
The staff at the hotel were very polite and helpful, providing maps and local tips. However, during check-in, there was a relaxed attitude about the delays, which made it frustrating.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the heart of downtown and close to the river waterfront. Everything you need is within walking distance, making it very convenient.
Dining
8.0
The morning offerings of coffee, tea, and fruit were a lovely touch and completely complimentary, which was nice. I didn't dine extensively, but the wedding reception I attended had excellent food.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel facilities were well-kept, though I did miss having a hot tub to enjoy on the rooftop. Overall, everything was functioning as it should, except for the AC.
